Worked with a children's book author to create 20 characters called Toread. The story is about tiny nymphs who live in a forest. The name came from “Tot” + “Oread.” We attended a Korean and Japanese Character Show in 1999 and created kids’ products to present the characters such as a note, pencil case, postcard, memo pad, dairy, and folder, etc., It was well received, and we started producing and selling office products. I was interested in character design when I was a student and worked as a freelancer for Toread company. I didn’t become a character designer, but I still love character products.
