PROJECT OVERVIEW
I was motivated to create the opening credit after I watched the Butterfly Effects movie. The movie is about "the butterfly effect," "chaos theory," and how events and decisions large and small can play huge roles in determining the kind of people individuals turn out to be. I designed the entire atmosphere just like the movie. Used the original soundtrack for the background music. As you can see, most of the movements start from a little reaction and turn into a big wave of energy. I used a butterfly toy for the background of the video. I hung a toy from a string and filmed a video and designed in After Effect and Premier for editing.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
I often passed Yerba Buena Gardens on the way to my San Francisco art school. It is the beautiful garden in the middle of a forest of buildings like an oasis in the desert. I tried to convey Yerba Buena Gardens as the perfect place to play, and relax. It took a week to film, and I edited it in Premiere.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This is my personal project. Got inspiration from the final destination movie. The animation represents the whole concept of the movie. I don’t design motion graphics anymore, but my experience was useful when I design interactive animations in UX. I think users can rely on animation instead of static visual cues to guide them through an app experience.
